Underwear firm apologises to McGregor

Australian underwear firm has had to backtrack on claims that it sold manhood-enhancing briefs to actor Ewan McGregor.AussieBum now says it’s not true that the Scottish actor bought a huge order of Wonderjocks, described as a wonderbra for men.AussieBum owner Sean Ashby claimed the ‘Long Way Round’ star had purchased a huge order of the underwear, which is designed to “lift and promote” a man’s crotch area, in an interview last week. And according to McGregor’s publicist, the Aussie entrepreneur immediately regretted going public about his celebrity patron. She states, “AussieBum has written an apology to us over it, it is not true at all.”The company has now acknowledged the McGregor story was incorrect, but confirmed the actor had bought other styles of AussieBum pants, according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph.A spokesman tells the publication, “He’s a fan of the brand generally and has bought several different items from the range, but certainly not the Wonderjock. “Given his reputation, we doubt very much there would be a need for this.” Source: www.rte.ie
